2 Year of Classes and 1 Year of Internship: DSUIA Cadets will be Trained under the New Program

92 cadets, who have been studying under “2 Years as Cadet – 1 Year as Listener” program at Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs, underwent personal distribution for internship. Youngsters were assigned to the territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine at the junior staff positions. More details in the entire material.

The Commission included Andrii Fomenko, Police Colonel, Rector of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs; Yuriy Nebeskyi, Police Colonel, Head of the Main Office of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region; Volodymyr Kovbasa, the first vice-rector; Larysa Nalyvaiko and Oleksandr Sydorov, vice rectors; Volodymyr Bohonis, police captain, deputy head of the Main Office of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk region; Oleksandr Yunin, lieutenant colonel, director of the Training and Scientific Institute of Distance Learning and Advance Training; Kostiantyn Bakhchev, Police Colonel, dean of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Preventive Activity Units; Andrii Ivanytsia, police major, head of Personnel Department; Oleksandr Linkov, head of Non-Permanent Personnel Department.

Under the decision of the Commission in personal distribution 58 cadets will serve at units of the Main Office of the National Police of Dnipropetrovsk region, 3 cadets in Donetsk region, 13 cadets in Zaporizhzhia region, 6 cadets in Kirovohrad region, 1 cadet in Luhansk region, 2 cadets in Mykolaiv region, 1 cadet in Poltava region, 2 cadets in Sumy region, 1 cadet in Kherson region and 5 cadets in Cherkasy region.

It should be mentioned that under “2 Years as Cadet – 1 Year as Listener” educational program cadets from preventive activity faculties study at the university for two years and afterwards they are assigned to a practical unit of the National Police for one year according to their will. Being guided by experienced leaders they obtain an opportunity to train practical skills. During this period they continue studying at the university in a distant mode.

According to the Commission, the cadets will occupy junior managerial staff positions for internship under their specialty. Official graduation and final assignment at officer positions are scheduled for June 2021.
