Psychologists from the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs have initiated a series of interactive sessions for female cadets of the institution on gender relations between men and women. The focus is on breaking down gender stereotypes.
At the beginning of the first cycle of meetings, the head of the Department of Psychological Support at DSUIA, Serhiy Vyshnevskyi, emphasized the relevance of the topic and the necessity of exploring this issue.
Participants discussed the presence of communication problems between male and female cadets during their studies and service. They talked about stereotypes and myths prevalent in modern society, raising topics such as sexual safety, women’s health, and personal boundaries.
The participants actively engaged in discussing the identified issues and independently proposed topics for consideration, including morality, relationships, and communication with classmates and colleagues at the university.
