The sessions are conducted by the Department of Psychological Support of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs for first and second-year students.

During the sessions, future policewomen, along with psychologist Taisiya PIDHORNA, discuss issues of hidden gender inequality, women’s feelings under the pressure of social influence regarding professional realization, and more. Participants of the session created a “stereotype map” using art therapy methods and discussed ways and strategies to overcome social pressure, as well as learned about mental recovery techniques.

Cadets shared their insights on the formation of personal relationships, discussed the age-specific features of boys’ and girls’ adolescence, and talked about psychological aspects of maintaining women’s health. At the end of the session, each woman had the opportunity to reflect on the presence and appearance of personal boundaries using the “Mandala of My Boundaries” technique and understand the advantages of being a woman in the police profession.
