Students of the Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs had the opportunity to meet with the liquidator of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, Volodymyr DOVHYI.
On April 26, Ukraine commemorates the Chernobyl disaster and honors the liquidators who saved the world from nuclear danger. Among the veterans of DSUIA are individuals who took part in the aftermath of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident and maintained order near the exclusion zone. One of them is Volodymyr DOVHYI.
On the eve of the Day of Remembrance of the Participants of the Chernobyl Disaster Liquidation, this participant of historical events met with the cadets. Students had the opportunity to hear about his involvement in ensuring control and passage regime at the border with the exclusion zone. At the end, the cadets watched the documentary film “Chernobyl P.S.”
