of the Lyceum.

The guests were welcomed by the rector of DSUIA, Oleksandr MORGUNOV. The head of
the institution noted that the purpose of creating security-oriented and national-patriotic
education lyceums is to honor the Heroes, whose children will bear the title of lyceum students
starting from September 1st. The aim is also to create conditions for skill and quality knowledge
formation funded by the state and to foster a modern educational atmosphere through the careful
selection of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
based at DSUIA.

The head of the Lyceum, Oleksandr TVERDOHLIB, also addressed the audience. He
emphasized that the Lyceum should primarily embody quality education with the possibility of
applying the acquired knowledge practically. The Lyceum will be the institution capable of
engaging students through meetings, excursions, electives, sports sections, and more. The
comprehensive educational approach will help lyceum students identify themselves as
individuals and citizens.
Among the guests was Lyudmila HOSTISHCHEVA, the mother of Oleksandr HOSTISHCHEV.
Oleksandr HOSTISHCHEV was the commander of the "Tsunami" assault regiment of the "Lut"
assault brigade of the Offensive Guard, who died on March 15, 2024, during a Russian ballistic
missile strike on Odessa. The Lyceum will be named after Oleksandr HOSTISHCHEV.
After the main presentation, participants, including the parents of future applicants, had the
opportunity to ask any questions. Rector Oleksandr MORGUNOV and representatives of the
university and lyceum readily communicated with the attendees and provided comprehensive
answers.
Ahead for the future applicants are exams. The physical fitness assessment exam for boys and
girls will take place over two stages, lasting two days. In addition to physical fitness, knowledge
of Ukrainian history and the Ukrainian language will also be evaluated.
