The rector of DSUIA, Oleksandr MORGUNOV, met with the head of the Explosive Engineering Service of the National Police of Ukraine, Volodymyr KHOMENKO.
During the working meeting, issues regarding further cooperation to promote the development of the explosive engineering field at the university were discussed, including enhancing the qualifications of university representatives both within Ukraine and abroad in leading European training centers.
During the visit, Volodymyr KHOMENKO facilitated the donation of equipment to the university as humanitarian aid. This equipment, which can be used in the educational process, includes protective explosive engineering suits, metal detectors, tactical sapper hooks, anti-mine sapper shoes of the «spider» type, and more.
Following the meeting, a specialized classroom titled «Identification of Explosive Devices» was presented to Volodymyr KHOMENKO.
