“Private Law Aspects of Ukraine’s Reconstruction on the Path to European Integration”: Conference at DSUIA

Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs hosted an All-Ukrainian scientific and practical online conference. Organized by the Department of Civil Law Disciplines, the event gathered over 100 higher education students, postgraduates, and young researchers from across Ukraine.

The conference was opened by the head of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines, Doctor of Law, and Associate Professor Khrystyna Rezvorovych. Denis Proshyn, Head of the Scientific Activity Organization Department at DSUIA, addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of developing private law for the country’s recovery and aligning legislation with European standards.

The event also featured representatives of the legal community. Lawyer Denys Khrypunov, head of the “Khrypunov Denys Hryhorovych” law firm, represented the advocacy field, while academic contributions came from Yevheniia Kobrusieva, a professor at the Department of Administrative and Criminal Law of Oles Honchar Dnipro National University.

Participants discussed the challenges and prospects of harmonizing private law relations, issues in adapting Ukrainian legislation to European standards, and other pressing topics. The conference served as a platform for experience exchange and collaboration among students, academics, and practitioners.

The event concluded with the identification of priority research areas aimed at harmonizing Ukrainian private law with European Union law, marking a significant step toward Ukraine’s European integration.
