A career guidance event was organized by the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs for high school students of Dnipro Gymnasium No. 6.
The event featured participation from Karina PISOCKA, a senior lecturer in the department and senior lieutenant of police, as well as Anastasiia BORDUN, a junior lieutenant of police and officer from the Educational Security Sector.
The quiz consisted of three stages. The first stage focused on theoretical foundations, where participants discussed the concept of gender-based violence and the relevant legislative provisions.
During the second stage, students were tasked with creating symbolic “Trees of Gender-Based Violence” on paper, reflecting the causes and consequences of violent relationships. After completing the task, each group presented their work.
The final stage involved developing and discussing the police response algorithm for handling situations of domestic violence.
The event not only expanded the students’ knowledge but also raised awareness of this critical social issue.
