A seminar on the topic “Improving the qualifications of teachers for the implementation of national-patriotic education based on the Cossack tradition ‘Spas’ in the educational process” took place in the city of Zaporizhzhia.

The event was organized by the public organization “All-Ukrainian Federation ‘Spas’.”

Representatives of educational institutions of Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia discussed modern approaches to the implementation of Cossack pedagogy in the educational process, as well as the importance of raising a new generation of strong, educated, and spiritually mature Ukrainian youth.

Participants familiarized themselves with the activities of the Communal Institution “Zaporizhzhia Specialized Boarding School of II–III Levels ‘Cossack Lyceum’” of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, which became an example of integrating elements of the Cossack tradition into educational practice.

Director of the “Police Academy” of DSUIA Mykola Nazarenko and head of the Department of Organizational-Analytical Work Lieutenant Colonel of Police Andrii Shevchenko held a career orientation meeting with senior students of the Cossack Lyceum. Representatives of the university spoke about the specifics of studying at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, admission conditions, stages of selection, and opportunities for obtaining modern legal education.

Such events contribute to the formation of national consciousness of youth, the upbringing of patriotism, and respect for the historical traditions of Ukrainian Cossackdom, as well as help young men and women consciously choose a profession in the service of society and the state.

In addition, Mykola Nazarenko held working meetings with representatives of educational institutions of Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia, during which the planning of future online events within the framework of the implementation of the 2026 admission campaign was discussed.
