The meeting with the Acting Head of the Selydove City Court of Donetsk Region Viktor Kapitonov was organized by the Research and Training Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA.
The lecture session on the topic “Integrity and Anti-Corruption” was organized for students of the first (bachelor’s) level with the aim of deepening their knowledge about ethical principles in law enforcement activity.
During the lecture, Viktor Kapitonov spoke about key aspects of integrity, mechanisms for preventing corruption in judicial and law enforcement spheres, as well as legal consequences of corrupt acts. Special attention was emphasized on the role of the judge in ensuring justice and forming public trust in the judiciary.
Students actively participated in the discussion, asked questions about the practical application of anti-corruption legislation and challenges faced by judges in modern conditions.
Such events contribute to the formation in higher education students of professional ethics, civic consciousness, and understanding of the importance of combating corruption. DSUIA continues to organize meetings with practical workers to prepare qualified specialists for the law enforcement system of Ukraine.
