26 listeners – representatives of Zaporizhzhia and Poltava oblasts – took part in the training.
The training was conducted by the Department of Professional Development and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA.
Police officers mastered topics concerning human rights, anti-corruption legislation, operative-investigative activity and organization of disclosure of certain types of crimes.
The listeners were met by the prorector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, police colonel Ihor Kovalov. He emphasized that continuous professional learning is a key element of effective work of police officers. Systematic preparation ensures increasing the quality of performance of official duties and forms a culture of constant self-improvement, which constitutes the basis of the model of modern police activity.
After passing the comprehensive exam, all listeners received the corresponding certificates.
