All-Ukrainian competitions were held in Dnipro, where a representative of the university, Danil Taruta, won a prize place in his weight category.
Athletes from different regions of the country representing leading higher education institutions took part in the competition.
Following intense bouts, cadet of training group DR-343 Danil Taruta demonstrated a high level of preparation, technical skill, and endurance. In the weight category up to 71 kg, he confidently advanced through the tournament and finished second, winning the silver medal of the championship.
Participation in competitions of this level contributes to improving the sporting skills of cadets, developing their physical qualities, and building endurance and character. The consistent achievements of university representatives are evidence of the high level of training of students and the promotion of sports traditions at DDUVS.
