Cadets of DDUVS implement social initiatives

NEWS

Future law enforcement officers took part in improving a social institution and carried out a volunteer initiative to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine joined a number of socially important activities aimed at helping the community and supporting Ukrainian defenders.

In particular, the cadets improved the premises of the Municipal Institution of Social Protection “Center for Social Support of Children and Families ‘Dovira’” of the Dnipro City Council. The event was held to improve living conditions for the residents and to create a more comfortable and functional internal environment.

The cadets assisted the staff in rearranging furniture and organizing living and working spaces, taking into account the needs of both children and employees. This made it possible to optimize the space, increase the level of convenience and safety, and create a more уют atmosphere for the children staying at the Center.

In addition, second-year cadets joined a volunteer initiative in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Together with volunteers, they sewed fleece pillows for servicemen who are on the front line.

All stages of the work – from preparing materials to filling the products – were carried out by the cadets themselves. As a result of their joint efforts, 70 pillows were produced.

Participation in such initiatives helps cadets not only develop practical organizational skills but also fosters social responsibility, empathy, and respect for those in need of support. At the same time, it strengthens the partnership between the university and the community and contributes to the formation of conscious and caring law enforcement officers.
