Events on the Occasion of the Graduation of Cadets Took Place at DSUIA

Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, heads of bodies and units of the MIA system, and representatives of the regional authorities took part in the event.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Police Colonel Leonid Tymchenko wished to carry the title of DSUIA graduate with honor throughout life and to increase professionalism.

The Acting Rector of DSUIA Ihor Mahdalina addressed the graduates, noting that they had chosen a difficult path, and wished the young officers to continue improving their skills and constantly increasing their professional level.

The cadets received bachelor’s diplomas and the ranks of police lieutenants.

Welcoming speeches were also delivered by: the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional State Administration – Head of the Regional Military Administration, Police General of the Third Rank Oleksandr Hanzha; the Head of the Main Police Department in Luhansk Oblast, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov; the Acting Head of the Main Police Department in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Police Colonel Oleksandr Myrhorodskyi; the Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Major General of the Civil Protection Service Yurii Koretskyi; the Acting Head of the Main Department of the Security Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Brigadier General Dmytro Neviedrov; the Head of the Central Territorial Administration of the National Guard of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine, Colonel Denys Shleha.

For significant achievements in studies and the discovery of abilities for scientific work, the best graduates received scholarships named after Denys Monastyrskyi.

Employees of DSUIA and military veterans received departmental certificates, letters of commendation and badges.

On the occasion of the graduation of specialists for the bodies of the National Police of Ukraine and the celebration of the 60th anniversary of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a postage block “60 Years of DSUIA” was presented. All honored guests took part in the special cancellation of the anniversary stamp.
