Representatives of the university won victories and prize places at the all-Ukrainian competitions among war veterans.
On the weekend in Kyiv, the Cup of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in table tennis among war veterans, as well as persons who were wounded while performing official duties, in particular as a result of participation in repelling the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, was held.
Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented at the competitions by veterans who are employees of the institution. The participants showed a high level of preparation, enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
According to the results of the tournament, the winners were the inspector of the sports team of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of DSUIA Viacheslav Kaistro and the technician of the leisure group of the department Vasyl Koval. The instructor of the Department of Special Physical Training Andrii Shevchenko won bronze.
The achieved results are the consequence of systematic preparation and regular trainings that take place on the basis of DSUIA. The university has created appropriate conditions for practicing table tennis, which contributes to maintaining physical fitness, developing coordination and endurance of veterans, and is also an important element of rehabilitation and social adaptation.
The successes of DSUIA veterans are an example of strength of spirit, perseverance and effective combination of official duties with active participation in the sports life of the country.
