The event was held by the Department of Psychological Support of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The meeting was held with the assistance of the Fenomen Positum training center within the framework of the implementation of the project “Point of Psychological Practices” jointly with the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Institute of Law and Innovative Education.
Representatives of the Fenomen Positum center told about one of the popular modern methods of psychotherapy – positive psychotherapy (PPT). The applicants and psychologists learned about the peculiarities of the application of the method, its structure and stages of training, and got acquainted with practical cases of the method application.
The implementation of the project “Point of Psychological Practices” in higher education institutions with specific training conditions provides for the holding of events with the involvement of representatives of public organizations, including for the purpose of psychological education.
About 100 people took part in the meeting. As the organizers note, the interest in the method is connected with its scientific evidence base, safety of application and compliance with modern legislation.
