The Acting Rector of DSUIA Igor Magdaliyna and the Head of the Mission Rolf Holmbo discussed promising areas of further cooperation.
Rolf Holmbo expressed gratitude to the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs for the fruitful cooperation that has developed over the past four years. The Head of the Mission noted two promising areas that will be implemented within the framework of the new mandate: optimization of work with military veterans and countering hybrid threats. He emphasized that countering hybrid threats is important already today and will gain even greater relevance in the future.
Igor Magdaliyna told the Mission representatives about the work of DSUIA with military veterans and plans for the further development of this area, which is important in the activities of DSUIA.
During the meeting, the ways of training specialists in criminal analysis based on the principles of OSINT, Big Data and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity were discussed. The Mission proposed conducting an in-depth course for lecturers on the use of OSINT tools in police activities with the involvement of experienced international experts for the further cascading of knowledge among scientific and pedagogical staff and higher education applicants.
Another area of joint interaction discussed during the meeting was the further implementation of the educational component “Procedural Interview” into the educational process of police training. The Mission experts are ready to continue supporting cooperation regarding the implementation of the procedural interview into the practical activities of the National Police of Ukraine within the framework of the implementation of the National Strategy for the Protection of Children’s Rights in the Justice Sector for the period until 2028.
