A meeting of the Academic Council was held at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs under the chairmanship of Acting Rector Ihor Mahdalina.
A number of important issues related to the university’s activities were considered. The participants discussed the interaction of the educational institution with structural and territorial units of the National Police of Ukraine. Issues concerning adherence to the principles of academic integrity by DDUVS staff and higher education students were raised, the results of career guidance activities were summarized, and a number of educational and methodological materials were recommended for publication, among other matters.
During the meeting, on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of DDUVS, a number of university employees were awarded honorary certificates, letters of appreciation, badges, commemorative awards, and valuable gifts.
The event was attended by distinguished guests, including Deputy Head of the Regional State Administration – Head of the Regional Military Administration Iryna Hrytsai; Deputy Mayor of Dnipro Yurii Yandulskyi; Acting Head of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region, Brigadier General Dmytro Nieviedrov; Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk region, Police Colonel Oleksandr Morhunov; and Deputy Head of the Central Territorial Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine, Colonel Yevhen Shulha.
