The class was conducted within the discipline “Algorithm of Actions of Patrol Police Officers in Various Service Situations (Scenarios)” and was dedicated to the specifics of interaction with social service centers under martial law.

Patrol police officers undergoing training under the specialization programme at the Department for Advanced Training and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA took part in the session. Invited speakers included Deputy Director of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center for Social Services Olesia Bilko and the center’s psychologist Yuliia Teslia.
During her presentation, Olesia Bilko focused on the transformation of social services activities under martial law. In particular, she addressed the strengthening of an individual approach to service recipients, the development of the psychosocial support system, and the need for rapid response to the needs of vulnerable population groups. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of effective cooperation between social services and law enforcement agencies.
During the class, participants discussed practical aspects of cooperation based on partnership, information exchange, and joint resolution of community social issues. Considerable attention was given to response algorithms for cases of violence against children, mechanisms for identifying at-risk families, and tools for raising public awareness about rights and available assistance options.

The event was organized by the Department of Administrative Law and Procedure and the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the Educational and Scientific Institute for Training Specialists for Preventive Units of the National Police of Ukraine, with the participation of the Department for Advanced Training and Specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA.
