Representatives of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs won a total of five prize awards, demonstrating a high level of preparation and technical mastery.

The two-day Dnipropetrovsk Region Kettlebell Sport Championship brought together the strongest participants from across the region, ensuring intense competition in each weight category. Athletes competed in the snatch with free hand change, the classic snatch, and the team relay event.
The best result among DDUVS representatives was shown by student Anastasiia Medviedieva (Bd-K9-25-5), who confidently won in the over 68 kg weight category. Her performance stood out for consistency in exercise execution and high strength indicators.
Three university cadets won silver medals: Roman Huba (SR-K9-25-1) in the up to 68 kg category, Oleksii Nankevych (DR-081-24-1) in the up to 85 kg category, and Dmytro Lopatin (DR-345) in the up to 95 kg category, thanks to their composed and technically precise performances.
The bronze medal in the up to 95 kg category was won by Yaroslav Lysiuk (DR-344), who confidently completed the competition programme.


The performance of DSUIA students at the regional championship demonstrated the systematic training of athletes and the effectiveness of the training process at the educational institution. The achieved results not only strengthen the university’s sports image but also motivate students to further improvement and new victories.
