The event was conducted by the lyceum’s teacher-organizer, Liliia Lisova.
The commemorative event at the Oleksandr Hostishchev Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs began with honoring the memory of the fallen with a minute of silence.
The lyceum students watched a video presentation and learned about the key events of World War II, the significant contribution of the Ukrainian people to the victory over Nazism, as well as the tremendous price Ukrainians paid for peace on their land.
The students also recited poetry expressing respect for the fallen heroes who defeated Nazism for the sake of future generations.
Such events contribute to the formation of historical memory, national awareness, patriotism, and understanding of the true value of peace among lyceum students.
