The event was conducted as part of the preparation for the training camp and the All-Ukrainian sports competition “Ukraine Cup in Pétanque Among War Veterans of the Eastern Region,” which will take place in Kryvyi Rih.
Another training session of the DSUIA veteran pétanque team was held at the sports facility of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. The participants practiced throwing techniques, tactical interaction, and team coordination necessary for successful participation in the upcoming national competitions.
The team includes university employees and veterans who regularly participate in sports and rehabilitation activities organized by DSUIA. The training is conducted under the guidance of specialists from the Department of Special Physical Training and the sports team of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work.
The university continues to develop its veteran support initiatives, paying significant attention to physical activity, social adaptation, and creating opportunities for veterans to participate in sports initiatives at the national level.
