Саdets of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs won two silver and two bronze medals in the individual standings.
The championship took place in Khmelnytskyi at the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine named after B. Khmelnytskyi and brought together 11 teams from higher education institutions under the administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Emergency Service, and higher military educational institutions of the State Border Guard Service and the National Guard of Ukraine.
The participants were welcomed by the Rector of the National Academy, Colonel Oleksandr Meiko, and the Head of the Educational and Sports Infrastructure Department of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Nataliia Kazakova. They emphasized the importance of service-applied sports for the training of future law enforcement officers, particularly for the development of psychological resilience, endurance, and professional qualities necessary for service.


During the two days of competition, the athletes demonstrated a high level of technical and physical mastery, strength of character, and team spirit.



The performances of DSUIA athletes in the individual categories were especially spectacular and successful. Cadets Akim Sharakov (up to 60 kg) and Vladyslav Rudyk (over 90 kg) won silver medals, while Denys Lushpaiev (up to 90 kg) and Yuliia Tolmachova (up to 75 kg) earned bronze medals. The students confidently completed the tournament distance, demonstrating perseverance and determination to win.


The winners and prize winners of the championship were awarded cups, diplomas, and medals by the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The event was held with the active support of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the All-Ukrainian Hand-to-Hand Combat Federation of Ukraine.
