The scientific and pedagogical staff of the university’s Department of Special Physical Training organized a consultation for students of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after Oleksandr Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The main goal of the event was to familiarize future graduates with the peculiarities of admission to higher education institutions with specific conditions of study.
During the meeting, representatives of the department thoroughly familiarized the lyceum students with the procedure for passing the standards: a step-by-step algorithm of actions of candidates for study during the physical fitness examination. The conditions for evaluation were explained, clear criteria and requirements for the technique of performing exercises were determined. The participants of the meeting learned about the scoring system by which the level of physical readiness of entrants is determined.
In addition, the peculiarities of preparation were discussed, practical advice was emphasized regarding the distribution of load during training, in order to successfully demonstrate high results during the admission campaign.
“The specifics of studying at DSUIA require cadets and students not only high knowledge in specialized subjects, but also excellent physical fitness and endurance. Our task today is to help lyceum students navigate the requirements, relieve unnecessary tension and motivate them to quality preparation,” noted the representatives of the Department of Special Physical Training of DSUIA.
