A DSUIA Lecturer Took Part in an International Seminar-Training on Combating Human Trafficking

Vadym Chepurko, lecturer of the Department of Criminalistics and Pre-Medical Training at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, participated in the seminar-training “Combating Human Trafficking: Modern Challenges and Practical Solutions.”

The event was held at Lviv State University of Internal Affairs. During the training, participants discussed current issues related to combating human trafficking, modern methods of detecting and investigating such crimes, as well as effective mechanisms for protecting victims.

The participants deepened their knowledge of current trends in the transformation of human trafficking forms and legislation in this field, improved their understanding of the national mechanism for combating human trafficking and international cooperation.

In addition, the participants developed practical skills in detecting and investigating crimes related to human trafficking using OSINT and analytical tools, and also gained practical experience in applying simulation-based training methods

Participation in such events promotes the exchange of experience between higher education institutions with specific learning conditions, enhances the professional competence of lecturers, and contributes to the implementation of new knowledge into the university’s educational process.
