The class was conducted by Senior Inspector of the Analytical Work Department of the Criminal Analysis Unit of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Donetsk Region, Police Senior Lieutenant Viacheslav Cherkasov.

Practical classes conducted by officers of the criminal analysis units of the Main Directorates of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions continue for second-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine at DSUIA.

During the event, the participants discussed the possibilities of intelligent text search, searching for persons and vehicles using photographs, creating wanted notices, and generating statistical reports.

The cadets had the opportunity to apply artificial intelligence technologies while completing practical case studies, which allowed them to practice modern operational algorithms using real examples.
Such classes deepen the understanding of the feasibility of using artificial intelligence technologies, which significantly accelerate analysts’ work, improve the accuracy of information processing, and enable оперативне making of well-grounded decisions.
