Day of Heroes at DSUIA: cadets met with military veterans

In the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, on the occasion of the Day of Heroes of Ukraine, a number of events aimed at military-patriotic education of future law enforcement officers took place.

Cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU had the opportunity to communicate with a war veteran, the leading specialist of the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work Vyacheslav Lisenko. During the frank conversation, the veteran sincerely shared his personal combat experience, told about the challenges of military service, the strength of spirit, patriotism and the indestructibility of the Ukrainian people. He paid special attention to the issues of courage, honor and conscious service to the Motherland.

The cadets actively asked questions, admiring the example of a person who, with his own resilience and love for Ukraine, demonstrates the true strength of spirit.

For the cadets of the 3rd year of the Faculty of Training Specialists for the Bodies of Pre-trial Investigation of the NPU, war veteran Pavlo Ostrohliadov conducted a lecture “Creation of the “Khartia” Unit of the National Guard of Ukraine”. The participants learned about the stages of unit formation, the peculiarities of performing combat tasks, team interaction, psychological resilience and the use of the latest technologies at the front.

In addition, the 2nd year cadets listened to the lecture “Marine Infantry”, in which Pavlo Ostrohliadov told about the history, traditions and modern role of the Ukrainian marines in the defense of the state, their heroism, courage and selflessness.

Such events are an important component of the formation in future law enforcement officers of national consciousness, patriotic values, respect for the defenders of Ukraine and a deep understanding of the high mission of the chosen profession in wartime conditions.
