Education that helps to recover

Announcements

Today, 1673 veterans are studying in higher education institutions of the MIA system. Another 820 have already received diplomas and acquired a new specialty.

Behind this statistics are people who have gone through combat operations, experienced severe injuries and months of rehabilitation. But despite everything, they strive to move forward: to study, continue service and build a new future.

The rehabilitation of a wounded defender should not end in a medical facility. It is comprehensive when a person gains confidence in further life, including professional life. And our duty is to provide veterans with this tool.

That is why the MIA significantly expands the program of free higher education. This year, police officers, rescuers, border guards and national guardsmen who have been discharged from service for health reasons can enter studies on a state order to 11 educational institutions of the MIA system.

Veterans master specialties that are critically needed by the country already today: psychology, cybersecurity, law enforcement activities, civil protection, information technologies.

On the portal «MIA: Your Support» there is all the information about available services for veterans. There you can also leave a request for admission.

We continue to work in this direction. Because education, employment, sports – this is about recovery, support and new opportunities.
