Future applicants were introduced to the specifics of studying at the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, the conditions of the admission campaign, and the educational opportunities offered by the institution.
In particular, Head of the Department of Administrative and Legal Disciplines and Public Administration of DSUIA Iryna Dziuba conducted a career guidance event for senior students of Prometei Lyceum in Pyatykhatky. During the meeting, she advised students on the current admission requirements to the university, as well as the list of educational and professional programs under which higher education applicants are trained.
Special attention was paid to the advantages of studying at DSUIA, the practical component of training, and opportunities for professional realization after graduation. Iryna Dziuba presented the university’s material and technical facilities to the students, outlined the specifics of the educational process, and discussed the prospects of service in the institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine system.
An associate professor of the Department of Criminal Procedure at DSUIA, Police Major Oleksii Boiko, held career guidance discussions with graduates of the Petrykivka and Ivanivka lyceums. During the meetings, he focused on admission to DSUIA as one of the leading legal higher education institutions in the region.
In particular, the students reviewed the key requirements for applicants, discussed the procedure for submitting documents, the specifics of registering an applicant’s electronic account, and completing the online application form for candidates seeking admission. They also learned about the conditions for taking the physical fitness test and received practical preparation advice.
The meetings were held in the format of an open dialogue. The students actively asked questions regarding the organization of the educational process, safety conditions and classroom facilities, as well as the operation of training grounds for cadets and students. The university representatives provided comprehensive answers and recommendations on preparing for admission.
Conducting career guidance events contributes to informing young people about opportunities for obtaining higher education at DSUIA, developing professional motivation, and making a conscious choice of future profession.
