The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs #DSUIA supports the principles of accessibility and systematically works on developing an inclusive educational environment, building inclusive infrastructure, ensuring comfortable communication, and providing equal opportunities for citizens, military personnel, and veterans.

Barrier-free accessibility begins with respect for a person, attentiveness to their needs, and a willingness to support and create conditions in which everyone can fully study, work, move, communicate, and realize themselves.
Key focuses of the initiative:
Accessibility of the environment: creation of barrier-free routes, architectural accessibility of public buildings, transport, and shelters.
Barrier-free communication: use of correct terminology (for example, “a person with a disability” instead of “disabled person”).
Support and inclusion: ensuring equal access to education, employment, and public services for veterans, elderly people, parents with children, and internally displaced persons (IDPs).
Psychological accessibility: skills for interacting with people in acute stress and creating a friendly environment.
Barrier-free accessibility is about the ability to be part of society without limitations and obstacles. It is about every person’s right to a dignified life, development, and self-realization.
Barrier-free accessibility is about all of us.
Together we are building a society of equal opportunities and a space without barriers.
