The event was organized by the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities for cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine.

The quiz, held within the framework of the “Operational and Investigative Activities” course, was organized by Professor of the Department Vitalii Teliichuk. The purpose of the event was to deepen and consolidate the cadets’ knowledge of current issues in operational and investigative activities under martial law, as well as to increase scientific interest and develop a creative approach to solving operational tasks in future professional practice.
The event consisted of three stages. The main stage was the “Brain Ring,” during which participants competed in their knowledge of the Law of Ukraine “On Operational and Investigative Activities,” as well as key instructions regarding the interaction of pre-trial investigation bodies with other units of the National Police, the conduct of covert investigative (search) actions, and the use of their results in criminal proceedings.
According to the jury’s evaluation, the team representing the Strategic Investigations training area won first place. The second place was taken by the team representing the training area for Criminal Police Units.
Artem Salakhutdinov, Yevhen Kosiachenko, Dmytro Kobylynskyi, Mykola Slitinskyi, and Yehor Khlystun were recognized as the most active participants.
Such events allow cadets not only to systematize theoretical knowledge, but also to develop analytical thinking, reaction speed, and teamwork skills, which are essential for effective operational and investigative activities in modern conditions.
