The event was organized by the Department of Special Physical Training of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
Participation in the Championship was taken by teams of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU, the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU, the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education, the Center for Special Professional Training “Police Academy”, as well as the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Despite the changeable weather, the emotions of the players and fans were elevated. The team participants demonstrated skillful ball control, high game speed, accuracy of passes and sports passion.
According to the results of the game, the places were distributed as follows:
● “gold” was won by representatives of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU;
● “silver” was won by cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU;
● “bronze” is in the asset of the team of the Center for Special Professional Training “Police Academy”.
In addition, individual athletes of the Championship were awarded. According to the judges’ assessment, the best player was cadet Maksym Pavlii (study group DR-341), and the best goalkeeper was cadet Yehor Zemliakov (study group DR-081-24-2).
The Championship took place in a friendly atmosphere, confirming the high level of physical fitness of the participants and the desire to win.
Such events contribute to strengthening team spirit, developing physical qualities, forming a healthy lifestyle and popularizing sports among cadets, students and lyceum students of DSUIA.
