Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs honored the memory of children who died as a result of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine

On June 4, on the Day of Remembrance of Children who died as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, a commemorative event was held at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs with the participation of cadets, students, and pupils of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education named after Oleksandr Hostishchev.

Those present honored the memory of the youngest victims of the war with a minute of silence. A symbol of the action was bells, which participants placed on tree branches as a reminder of children’s voices that were silenced forever due to the war. Each bell became a sign of remembrance for children whose lives were prematurely cut short by Russian aggression.

The event became another testimony that the memory of innocent victims of the war lives in the hearts of Ukrainians. Today, as Russia continues to strike civilian towns and villages across Ukraine every day, it is especially important to preserve the memory of every child who lost their life as a result of the war.

Participants of the action emphasized that honoring the memory of deceased children is not only an act of mourning, but also a reminder of society’s responsibility to protect childhood, human values, and Ukraine’s future.

Eternal memory to all children whose lives were taken by the war.
