DSUIA Cadets Undergo Practical Training at the Investigative Department of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Luhansk Region

Саdets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine are acquiring practical skills in conducting criminal proceedings, working with procedural documents, and using forensic equipment.

The cadets are gradually becoming familiar with the specifics of investigative units’ work, participating in investigative actions, studying the procedures for recording evidence, and working with forensic tools.

Particular attention is paid to developing practical skills in managing criminal proceedings. The cadets are trained to correctly prepare and systematize case materials, ensure proper document storage, and work with registration cards and official documentation.

Future investigators are also practicing the drafting of procedural documents, including interrogation protocols, crime scene examination reports, motions for conducting investigative actions, and other materials required for pre-trial investigation.

Practical training in National Police units contributes to the formation of professional competencies, the development of analytical thinking, responsibility, and the ability to make decisions in real operational situations. This experience enables future law enforcement officers to better understand the specifics of investigative work and prepare for the performance of their duties after graduation.
