“Inside-Out Day” and a Conversation about a Happy Childhood: Events at the Oleksandr Hostishchev Dnipro Lyceum of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

MIA Lyceum

At the Oleksandr Hostishchev Dnipro Lyceum of Security and National-Patriotic Education of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the educational practice period is ongoing.

During the “Inside-Out Day” event, the students had the opportunity to try themselves in the roles of educational institution staff. Participants performed the duties of the director, deputy director for educational work, senior educator, educator, practical psychologist, and medical worker. The aim of the event was to develop leadership qualities, organizational skills, responsible decision-making, and communication abilities. In addition, “Inside-Out Day” allowed the students to become more familiar with the specifics of the work of educational staff and to understand the level of responsibility assigned to each of them.

In addition, Senior Educator Police Lieutenant Colonel Anna Dzyuba held a discussion on the topic of a happy childhood. At the beginning of the event, the lyceum students observed a minute of silence in memory of fallen Heroes and children whose childhoods were taken away by russia’s armed aggression.

In response to the question “What would you do if you had absolute power and unlimited capabilities?”, the students unanimously said they would stop the war so that no one would lose loved ones and everyone could live in safety.

The students noted that happiness for them is time with family, their parents’ hugs, and the belief that they will return home alive.

At the end of the event, the participants were treated to ice cream.
