Graduate of the Barrier-Free Driving School of DSUIA: a military veteran received a driver’s license

NEWS

Andrii from Dnipro successfully passed the exams and now has a category “B” document.

Andrii joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 2023, and that same year he received a serious wound. The veteran learned about the opportunity to study at the Barrier-Free Driving School of DSUIA already during rehabilitation.

Before starting the training, Andrii had no experience in driving a car. He completed a full course of theoretical training, and acquired practical driving skills under the guidance of experienced instructors of the driving school. According to him, thanks to the high professionalism of the instructional staff, he now feels confident behind the wheel and can drive on roads with heavy traffic without any difficulties.

Currently, Andrii does not have his own car, but he plans to purchase a vehicle with an automatic transmission, which will open up new opportunities for independent movement and full participation in public life.

The Barrier-Free Driving School of DSUIA continues to help veterans, military personnel and people with disabilities gain new opportunities for self-realization.
