The event was conducted by the department of fire training of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
At DSUIA for military veterans undergoing rehabilitation at the State Institution “Eastern Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine”, a sports lesson was held in a multimedia shooting range. The modern location is equipped with weapons with photoelectric elements and interactive targets, and computer modeling allows for creating various scenarios: assault on a building, clearing of an office, conducting fire on a training ground, repelling an attack on an object, etc.
Such lessons have not only a sports, but also an important psychological component. They contribute to emotional relief, reduction of anxiety levels and states of post-traumatic stress disorder. In addition, interaction in a group, team support and communication with like-minded people strengthen the feeling of unity and belief in one’s own strength.
Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs constantly supports military veterans, creating opportunities for their physical, psychological and social rehabilitation.
