Assessment Week: Cadets Demonstrate Their Level of Professional Training

Assessment week is currently underway at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs. Cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Units of the National Police of Ukraine and the Faculty for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine are completing final assessments in academic disciplines that cover key areas of professional training.

Throughout the week, cadets demonstrate the level of knowledge and practical skills they have acquired during the semester. In particular, they complete assessments in Criminalistics, Criminal Procedure, Public International Law, Private International Law, Fundamentals of Criminal Analysis, and other subjects.

Special attention is paid to evaluating the practical competencies of future law enforcement officers. Cadets take assessments in Special Physical Training, Firearms Training, and Tactical and Special Training, during which they demonstrate their physical fitness, weapon-handling skills, and readiness to act in conditions that closely resemble real-life situations.

At the same time, cadets are preparing for their examinations, which will begin in the near future.

The assessment week is an important stage of the educational process, providing an objective evaluation of the training level of future law enforcement officers, the development of their professional competencies, and their readiness for further studies and the performance of official duties within the units of the National Police of Ukraine.
