The class for applicants of the faculty of training specialists for bodies of pre-trial investigation of the National Police of Ukraine was conducted by associate professor of the department of criminalistics and pre-medical training, police major Oleksandr Kryvopusk.
Cadets of training groups DR-081-24-1 and DR-081-24-2 took part in the event.
During the class, cadets practiced algorithms for providing pre-medical care in case of heart attack and stroke, in particular the procedure for recognizing critical conditions, timely response and correct procedure of actions before the arrival of medics. Special attention was paid to the tactics of police actions in case of explosions, rules of personal safety, organization of evacuation of victims and interaction with other emergency services.
The teacher emphasized attention on typical mistakes during the provision of pre-medical care and provided practical recommendations regarding effective and safe actions in crisis situations.
Conducting such elective classes contributes to the formation of professional competencies of future law enforcement officers, development of skills of operational decision-making and readiness to act in conditions of increased risk. The acquired knowledge and practical experience are an important component of training cadets for the performance of official duties related to the protection of life and health of citizens.
