Trainees of the Special Center for Police Training “Police Academy” of DSUIA took part in an event dedicated to the Constitution Day of Ukraine.
The meeting, held within the framework of national-patriotic and legal education for future law enforcement officers, was organized by Police Academy instructor, Police Captain Yevheniia Zhydkova.
Participants were reminded of the history of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine, its significance for the establishment of an independent democratic state, and the role of the Basic Law in ensuring the rights and freedoms of citizens.
Particular attention was paid to the constitutional principles governing the activities of law enforcement agencies and to the responsibility of police officers to uphold the principles of legality and the rule of law.
The trainees viewed a presentation highlighting the key provisions of the Constitution of Ukraine, the stages of its development, and the fundamental rights, freedoms, and responsibilities of citizens. Participants expanded their knowledge of constitutional law and discussed current issues related to the protection of constitutional values in contemporary conditions.
The attendees emphasized the importance of respecting the Constitution of Ukraine as the foundation of statehood, law and order, and civil society.
Such events contribute to the development of legal culture, patriotic awareness, and professional motivation among future law enforcement officers.
