The event was organized by the Department of Tactical and Special Training of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
Participation in the event on the topic “Peculiarities of teaching the educational discipline “Tactical and Special Training”” is taken by scientific and pedagogical and pedagogical workers of higher education institutions with specific conditions of study that belong to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, higher military educational institutions of the National Guard of Ukraine.
The Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. He noted that the advanced training of specialized specialists is an important factor in the high-quality training of future law enforcement officers in conditions of martial law.
The purpose of the seminar-training is to update the necessary knowledge and practical skills, as well as to form a unified methodology for teaching the educational discipline “Tactical and Special Training” in higher education institutions with specific conditions of study.
The participants will master modern tactical principles and concepts used by police officers during the application of police measures, the tactics of using UAVs by employees of the National Police of Ukraine during the performance of service-combat tasks, the procedure for identifying explosive objects, stopping a vehicle with a high degree of risk, the tactics of small groups during the performance of service-combat tasks, the use of the MARCH algorithm, the algorithm for responding to situations related to an active shooter, etc.
The organizers believe that such measures make it possible to improve the quality of teaching tactical and special training, ensure the unity of methodological approaches, improve the practical skills of teachers and significantly increase the level of professional readiness of future law enforcement officers for actions in conditions of martial law.
