The event was held by the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU together with the Department of Social and Humanitarian Work of the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The cadets met with military veterans from among the university employees. The guests of the event were Oleksandr Hryshchuk, Oleksandr Otrubiannikov and Viacheslav Lisenko. They shared with the youth their own life and professional experience, told about military service, the importance of unity, mutual support, resilience and devotion to the Ukrainian people.
The veterans emphasized the importance of patriotism, responsibility and conscientious performance of official duty, because these qualities are the foundation of the police profession.
During the meeting, the cadets asked questions, communicated with the guests in a relaxed atmosphere and heard stories that became an example of courage, honor and resilience.
The organizers believe that such meetings are an important component of the national-patriotic education of future law enforcement officers, as they contribute to the formation of respect for the defenders of Ukraine, awareness of the importance of serving the state and the upbringing of high moral values.
