Laying of flowers took place at the Alley of Memory of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and fallen soldiers of the ATO in Dnipro.
The heads of the region and the city, heads of law enforcement structures, representatives of the public and citizens joined the memorial event.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine. After that, all those present honored the memory of the fallen defenders with a minute of silence.
The Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs was represented at the event by the Acting Rector of DSUIA Ihor Magdaliina. Together with the leadership of the region and the city, he laid flowers at the foot of the memorial.
The Day of Ukrainian Statehood is celebrated annually on July 15. It affirms the unity of the Ukrainian people, their indomitable will for freedom and independence, as well as deep respect for the heroes who fought and continue to fight for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. In the current conditions, this day acquires special significance, reminding of national identity, resilience and the aspiration for Victory.
