First-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the National Police of Ukraine at Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs were briefed.
The opening remarks were delivered by Vice-Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov. He drew the attention of those present to the importance of observing discipline and personal safety. Ihor Kovalov also emphasized the mandatory compliance with the norms of the legislation of Ukraine, as well as the Rules of Ethical Conduct for Police Officers.
Dean of the Faculty, Police Major Serhii Balaban, noted the strict responsibility for violations of service discipline and the possible consequences of unlawful actions.
In addition, Head of the Psychological Support Unit of DSUIA Serhii Vyshnevskyi stressed the importance of maintaining the moral and psychological well-being of cadets during their leave and preventing conflicts.
Such events contribute to increasing the level of cadet discipline and ensure the maintenance of high standards of professional ethics of police officers both during their studies and outside the university.
