Control over the passage of practice by cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU was carried out by the senior lecturer of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminology, Police Major Svitlana Korohod.
During the visit to the Industrial and Amur-Nyzhnodniprovskyi courts of the city of Dnipro, a check was carried out on the organization of the passage of practice, the fulfillment by cadets of individual plans, the keeping of practice diaries and other accounting and reporting documentation, as well as compliance with the schedule and program of educational practice.
During communication with the heads of practice from the court institutions, the level of professional training of cadets, the peculiarities of their performance of practical tasks, discipline, responsibility and interest in acquiring practical experience were discussed.
Based on the results of the check, it was established that the cadets treat the performance of the duties assigned to them responsibly, conscientiously keep the necessary documentation and actively acquire practical skills.
Educational practice is an important component of the training of future lawyers, as it makes it possible to apply the acquired theoretical knowledge in the activities of court institutions and to form professional competencies necessary for further service.
