In the Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, systematic table tennis training sessions for military veterans continue. The classes are organized by the Department of Special Physical Training with the support of the university management.
During such training sessions, veterans improve their game technique, develop reaction, accuracy of strikes and coordination of movements. The atmosphere of the training sessions combines sporting interest, mutual support and sincere communication.
Table tennis is one of the most accessible and low-traumatic types of adaptive sports for military veterans. It does not create excessive load on joints and the spine, but at the same time effectively develops fine motor skills, reaction speed, concentration of attention and endurance. Regular classes help restore physical form, strengthen muscle tone and improve coordination of movements.
Also, the game contributes to reducing stress levels, helps overcome the manifestations of post-traumatic stress disorder, restores self-confidence and forms a positive emotional state.
The team format of classes strengthens socialization, gives a sense of support and belonging to the community of like-minded people. In addition, in terms of psychological rehabilitation, each training allows you to get a charge of positive emotions.
DSUIA will continue to create conditions for the development of adaptive sports, helping military veterans strengthen their health, find new inspiration and return to active life.
