The event was conducted by the leading psychologist of the department of psychological support of DSUIA, Hanna Mhlynets.
Participation in the class, conducted within the framework of the implementation of the project “Point of Psychological Practices”, was taken by cadets of the first year of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units of the National Police of Ukraine.
During the performance of team exercises, the cadets had the opportunity to try themselves in the roles of leader, executor, analyst, idea generator and coordinator. Such a format of work helped to better understand their own strengths and demonstrated the importance of interaction, trust and effective communication for achieving a common goal. The atmosphere of the class was dynamic, positive and filled with sincere emotions.
Special attention was paid to reflection on the formation of one’s own team. The cadets analyzed their roles, discussed the peculiarities of interaction and determined which qualities are determining for successful team work.
Hanna Mhlynets emphasized the importance of awareness of the personal growth of each cadet and the comprehension of those professional and psychological skills that were formed during the first year of study. It is precisely such reflection that contributes to the development of a conscious attitude to the educational process, strengthens internal motivation and stimulates further improvement of professional competences.
Practical psychological exercises are an effective tool for supporting psycho-emotional stability, since they help future police officers to restore internal balance, effectively interact in a team and maintain psychological readiness for the performance of official tasks under conditions of constant stress load.
The formation of a cohesive team, the development of communicative culture and psychological stability are important components of the professional training of a modern police officer.
