The class is organized by the department of special physical training with the support of the leadership of the university.
During the next training, the participants practiced the technique of serving and receiving the ball, performed exercises on moving around the court, team interaction and game combinations. Special attention is paid to the development of coordination of movements, speed of reaction and endurance, as well as to the creation of a comfortable atmosphere for communication and mutual support among the veterans.
Pickleball is one of the most accessible adaptive sports. Thanks to moderate physical load, it is suitable for participants with different levels of training and does not create significant load on the joints and the musculoskeletal system. Regular classes contribute to the improvement of coordination, balance, mobility and general physical condition.
No less important is the positive impact of the game on psycho-emotional health. Sports activity helps to reduce the level of anxiety and stress, restore confidence in one’s own strengths, expand the circle of communication and strengthen the feeling of support among like-minded people. That is why pickleball is increasingly gaining popularity in the veteran environment as an effective tool for comprehensive recovery after service.

Weekly trainings from pickleball help participants maintain physical activity, strengthen psychological resilience, develop team spirit and gradually return to active social life.
