A commemorative ceremony was held in Dnipro at the Monument to Fallen Defenders of Law and Order, bringing together the leadership of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs (DSUIA), cadets and representatives of law enforcement agencies.
Participants paid tribute to those who remained faithful to their Oath until their last breath while protecting citizens’ rights, public safety and the security of the state. A flower-laying ceremony and a minute of silence served as symbols of gratitude for their courage, self-sacrifice and unwavering dedication to duty.
Among those attending the event were Vice-Rector of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, and DSUIA cadets.

Commemorative events such as these are an important component of the educational and character-development activities at DSUIA. They help foster the professional and moral qualities essential for future law enforcement officers, including responsibility, discipline and a commitment to serving the public interest. They also play a vital role in preserving the traditions of the law enforcement community and strengthening the bond between generations of those who have dedicated their lives to protecting law and order.
