At the Police Academy Special Professional Training Center of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a Professional Meeting Was Held with the Head of the Educational Security Service of Dnipropetrovsk Region

The Police Academy Special Professional Training Center of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs hosted a practical training session for Group 2/26 in the format of a professional meeting with Olena Tkachova, Head of the Educational Security Service of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Dnipropetrovsk Region and Police Lieutenant Colonel.

The event was organized with the support of Mykola Nazarenko, Director of the Police Academy Special Professional Training Center of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, who consistently promotes a practice-oriented approach to police training and the involvement of senior representatives of specialized units of the National Police of Ukraine in the educational process.

During the meeting, Olena Tkachova introduced the trainees to the current operational model of the Educational Security Service, outlined the key areas of responsibility of Educational Security Officers, and shared practical experience in organizing their work. Particular attention was paid to ensuring a safe educational environment, preventing juvenile delinquency, and strengthening cooperation with school administrations, teaching staff, parents, and local self-government authorities.

The participants also discussed the current challenges faced by Educational Security Officers in the performance of their duties, as well as practical response algorithms for handling non-standard situations. The speaker illustrated these issues with examples from her own professional experience, enabling the trainees to gain a deeper understanding of the specifics of their future service.

During the open discussion, future officers had the opportunity to ask questions, receive comprehensive professional answers, and discuss practical aspects of carrying out their official duties.

Such meetings are an important component of the educational process, as they combine theoretical training with the practical experience of senior officers of the National Police of Ukraine. This approach contributes to the development of professional competencies, practical thinking, and the preparation of highly qualified Educational Security Officers capable of effectively ensuring safety in educational institutions.
